Built shortly before the Revolutionary War, a detailed history of the church and those associated with it is included in "Bringing Our History to Life, The History and Restoration of Holy Trinity Church" by the friends of Holy Trinity, who maintain the church cemetery.

The church is no longer there, and the cemetery is surrounded by Eldersburg.
